BSFL are the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly. They are a highly nutritious, natural food source for reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians, and invertebrates.
BSFL are rich in calcium, protein, and healthy fats. They have an ideal calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, making them especially beneficial for reptiles like bearded dragons.
They’re sent in breathable containers / bags, depending on the quantity ordered, with substrate for comfort during transit. We ship early in the week to avoid delays over the weekend.
With proper storage (cool and dry), BSFL can last 2–3 weeks. Warmer temps speed up their growth and pupation. Check out our Care Guide for tips on storing!
